David Nagel is a member of the Boards of Directors of Leapfrog
Technologies (LF), Tessera Technologies (TSRA),
and OpenWave, Inc (OPWV). Nagel recently served as a member of the
National Research Council Study Group on IT R&D
Infrastructure. The summary report has recently been issued. Nagel is the former president and CEO of PalmSource, Inc., now Access Systems America, Inc. Before coming to PalmSource, Nagel held executive leadership positions at AT&T (CTO and President, AT&T Labs) and Apple Computer (SVP, R&D). He has also served on national and international advisory committees including President Clinton's first Advisory Committee on High Performance Computing, Communications, and the Next Generation Internet (PITAC). He is a Member of the Board of Visitors for the Univeristy of California, Los Angeles.
