Professor Wolfgang Wahlster is the director and CEO of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH) and a professor of computer science at Saarland University. Wahlster has published more than 200 technical papers and ten books on language technology, multimodal interfaces, and semantic technologies. His current research includes tangible multimodal interfaces, Car2X driving assistants, the internet
of things, and semantic service description.
