Deborah Crawford

Deborah Crawford joined Drexel University, where she is the senior vice provost for research, in 2010. She spent 17 years at the National Science Foundation (NSF), where she held a number of executive positions, including deputy assistant director for computer and information science and engineering. She was also the founding director of NSF's Office of Cyberinfrastucture. Before joining NSF, Crawford held positions at AT&T Bell Labs, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the University of California at Santa Barbara, and the GEC Hirst Research Lab, where her research interests were in nano-electronic and -photonic devices and systems.
