Networking and Security Director Vern Paxson has received the Diane S. McEntyre Award for Excellence in Teaching from UC Berkeley's Computer Science Division. The purpose of the award, which is given annually to a member of the computer science faculty, is to recognize commitment to and respect for students. It will be presented as part of the Computer Science commencement ceremonies on May 20.
