This collaborative project led by LLNL is part of the DARPA TRAnsforming DESign (TRADES) program, and focuses on modeling, analysis and synthesis of complex parameterized multi-scale material structures.

ICSI researchers are focued on formulating theoretical foundations, representations, and algorithms in support of  (1) methodology for modeling such  parameterized multi-scale material structures;  (2) geometric, topological, and material representations  of such structures;  (3) enabling interoperability of these representations with analysis and synthesis tools from FA-2 and FA-3 respectively by supporting required queries, and (4) dealing with fidelity and tolerances of such structures.
