This talk will present an overview of the LDC mixer MMSR Study by providing not only a 'big-picture' placement of the LDC Mixer Study in the Speech Community as a whole, but also ICSI's 'off-site' local involvement. In addition, a critical discussion of the study's infrastructure and day-to-day pragmatics will form a large part of the talk in order to stimulate community awareness and knowledge-base.
