Abstract:

We are now approaching the end of the first year for AMI (= Augmented Multi-party Interaction), our three-year EU project on automatic processing of Meetings data. This seems a good time for a status report and a discussion of future plans. I will briefly review the basics about AMI -- the objectives, the data and resources, the partner sites, ... -- and then describe the program's progress to date and the expectations for 2005 and beyond.
