Abstract:

Security interests of different parties differ substantially. Therefore "Multilateral Security", the protection of different parties and their interests, is needed. This talk gives examples for

1) Multilateral security through enabling parties to negotiate, e.g. the urgency of a call through a reachability management systems

2) Multilateral security through data economy, e.g. avoiding movement profiles in mobile communications.

Additionally, aspects of multilateral security regarding public key infrastructures and the German Digital Signature Law are discussed: Secure Equipment as well as IT Security Evaluation and Certification.

This talk will be held in the Main Lecture Hall at ICSI.
