Abstract:

This talk presents an applied NLP system that enables users to gain intuitive access to various underlying information technology services without requiring prior knowledge of these services' internal modalities. The fundamental idea is to enable users to employ complex and heterogeneous systems and information sources through a single natural language interface and processing system. The aim of this talk is to discuss issues that arise in the interplay between NLP systems and their underlying IT systems.

This talk will be held in the Main Lecture Hall at ICSI.
