Thursday, March 15, 2001
ICSI, Rm 607
11 am - 12 pm

Abstract:

In this talk, I will describe an emerging area of systems research, wireless sensor networks. Sensor networks pose interesting challenges for the design of communication systems, and force us to re-think many aspects of network design. I will outline these challenges, describe several ongoing projects, and discuss our experiences with building such systems.

This talk will be held in the Main Lecture Hall at ICSI.
