I am currently working at the International Computer Science Institute, a private, non-profit research laboratory affiliated with the University of California, Berkeley. Here is a short bio.

My research interests focus on intelligent multimedia applications, especially technology that extracts meaning (semantic) from data created for human sensory perception. This can be visual, acoustic, or other data. In fact, I am especially interested in systems where the combination of modalities results in synergistic effects.
