Research:
My research activities concern computational and statistical
approaches in biology. Specific areas of interest include:
- Developing tools for efficient and accurate discovery of the
genetic causes of common diseases.
- Studying the structure of human variation using computational tools.
- Biological sequence analysis.
- Algorithm design and analysis, applied to problems motivated from biology.
