I'm a researcher at the Pattern Recognition Lab at the Univ. Erlangen-Nuremberg at Erlangen, Germany where I'm part of the speech group headed by Elmar Nöth. I'm currently focusing on robust automatic speech recognition in reverberant environments. My further research interests include speaker and language id, speaker age recognition, voice and speech pathologies, and automatic keyphrase extraction for speech summarization. Feel free to read my cv or send me an email.

Currently, I'm a visiting researcher at the Int'l Computer Science Institute at Berkeley, CA. Together with their speech group, I'm comparing features for robust automatic speech recognition for English and German speech data.
