I play in the following ways:

Though I never really considered myself much of a photographer, in the Winter of 2003 I received a Casio Exilim Z4 (or maybe I just purchased it, I don't remember. In any case, I was eager to use the camera to record my travels and experiences in Japan, because I knew that it was possible that I'd never be able to go back to Japan and experience it in the same way. And so from the beginning of January to the end of August I took over 1000 photographs with that digital camera. Actually, I probably took nearly 2000, but of course with a digital camera you can take excessively many pictures on the scene and then delete unhesitatingly later.

I continue to take photographs where the fancy strikes, and here present some of those that seem like they're good enough that others might enjoy them. Of course, I usually take them at a higher resolution (1600 x 1200) at high quality (for my camera, anyway), so they're around 1 MB in size each;

So, onto the photographs. For now, go to my gallery at smugmug.com to get nearly all of the photos that used to be linked here, as well as others.
