User Feedback for GenAI
We are developing a framework for providing user feedback on the outputs of generative AI features.

Designing mechanisms for user feedback on generative AI outputs
Platforms powered by generative AI are now widely used by many people, for many purposes, and in many contexts. But information needs to flow both ways in order for GenAI tools to best meet users’ needs. This project, titled “Designing the Future of User Feedback: Developing a Framework for Effective Feedback Tools on Generative AI-Powered Platforms” aims to inform strategies to incorporate user feedback into such tools in a way that is effective, meaningful, and sustainable.
To accomplish this, we are analyzing the state-of-the-art in gathering user feedback about GenAI tools, conducting a case study in partnership with eBay product teams, and developing and evaluating with users a prototype system for collecting feedback.
